Nah you can't score in the opposing teams goal directly from a throw in. It should be given as a goal kick.
Bigup the referees hand book lol I passed the refs test at woolwich when i was like 13 or 14, used to earn £30 every sunday for reffing 3 kids' games. At that age it seemed like a load of money haha
