Line-up is fucking awesome. Lots of dubstep. Kode9, Digital Mystikz, Blim, Rusko live, Pole live, Plastician, Pinch, 2562, Vex'd, Pev, Joker, and, of course, Mr. Pokes. The techno/electronica side of things is pretty hot, too. I'm there!

Deffo. Last year's atmosphere was pretty cynical, what with the sniffer dogs and shit, so hopefully this year'll be an improvement!

this is looking incredible this year, the bloc people are seriously on it when it comes to compiling line ups, they actually look like real expressions of their musical taste aswell instead of the usual pandering to the perceived need to spread bet and include a handful of safe headliners, not that the headliners arn't something to revel, but you you know what i mean

The lineup looks fantastic so far. FSOL! Loads of proper old skool acts like Dynamix II, Egyptian Lover, Arabian Prince, 2 Bad Mice etc.. in fact, the whole lineup is quite faultless. Should be an amazing weekend.

What?
It seemed quite miserable. I didn't meet to many cheerful people.

Oh. I thought that was cos it was in great yarmouth in winter and it was like living in East Berlin for three days.

I don't actually know anyone who had problems with sniffer dogs.

Can anyone confirm what it was like last year?
Was it miserable?
Was it overly male?

it wasn't at all miserable, it was overly male but less so than your average dubstep night a couple of years ago, the sniffer dogs sounded quiite scary I got there after they'd left but the guy who sorted us out with the chalet ( missed the official booking) said he had them inside his car crawling over his lap etc, sounded like a close shave for him to but he entered with everything he arrived with somehow. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere I thought it was quite roudy

Really? I must've been at a different festival to you then. The only 'roudy'ness I saw, really, was two girls skanking like Demi-Gods to alot of the dubstep there. Alot of people seemed moody. As for the line-up, the people in our surrounding chalets didn't even leave it all weekend, so...

:D Yeah... its a factor though still. If I wanted to spend a cold weekend in the country with "too many men" I'd join the Territorial Army.

was always a good party going on in the smash bloc, people were going mad for boxcutter up the front on the sunday, people just generally seemed to be having fun from what i saw, maybe abit sedate in the main rooms at times but its a techno festival.
