Yesss... I keep playing the Beat Pharmacy one.

Don't get me wrong, I very much like the Pips sleeve designs, but if was a choice between them or a Skull Disco sleeve, complete with Ralph Steadman-esque artwork... I'd take art over design.

Where did you hear that he was doing the remix? Love Mr Weisemann's work - we've got him down for TAPE in November.

Ramadanman - Humber (Sven's Rumber Mix)
remix by sven weisemann / Apple Pips (Pips005)

that will be heavy im sure! big link up

nearly bumped into Mr Weisseman on the street last week, that was surprising

This is gonna be a serious label and the artwork is sick!

EDIT: Actually what a weird thread to start, "year I love the music, artworks a bit shit tho" Dya think someone said that to The Beatles? "Yearman the music's cool cat but the artwork? An Apple? Are you shittin me? or has anyone complained to DMZ? "Ey Mala, gotta say - tunes are sick brav, but oi got a bit of a problem wiv the artwork? Always the fakin same sept' the colour? Are you daft guv? Or the 1st ever white label... I could go on...

i think so, i think shackleton said something about that in the blackdown interview. but im guessing since skull disco kind of took off after that release they decided to keep it going? total speculation though....

I'm definitely interested to see what comes next.

Good news about that Greena tune. I like that. Subtle to the point I don't even know why I like it, but I definitely do.
