Yeah I wasn't too keen on some of the crowd. Tunes made up for it though.
Did Loefah find the dickhead that threw the bottle at him? I hope so, that shit ain't on.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

strip it down, reveal the elements

Yes yes, big up the long DMZ intro lol.
Big vibes as usual.
And yeh, too many guys in there. My mate said to me "Damn, bit of a sausage fest in here". Noticed a lot of new faces too, few dickheads saying the loads of the tunes were shit. If you don't like it then fuck off I say and don't moan about it.
I remeber previous DMZs where people were moaning about the bouncers. One of them was getting rude to Mr Chefal etc etc. I thought "Ah, might just be a one off" and then he bumped into this drunk guy during the dance on purpose. But what can you do hey?
Let's not dwell on that though. On a more positive note, DMZ has yet again delivered. Lovely mixture of sounds. A great mix between bangers and lovely souful vibes. Shall be looking forward to the next one if all goes to plan.

ye definately needed more girls. it was orite in the begining, obviously more guys but all over the dancefloor der was a decent amount of girls, but by the time mystikz were on there was a massive influx of guys fillin out the dancefloor.dreamizm wrote:Stella overly f'ed me up.
Out to ASE, Dave Q and the first half of DMZ's set- have no memory of anything else.

Very good night, stayed till 6am.
Awesome set by DMZ. I'd also like to know what was the first tune Loefah dropped after that long bit of subbass Mala put through our chests.
Crazy D did it again, he had to go badabeedoobowbow all the way through Skream's set. Am I the only one to find him annoying?
As for the lack of girls, DMZ has always been a bit of a swordfight, and at the first few you could count girls on the fingers of one hand.
Doesn't matter to me, DMZ is about sound, not chicks.

i only stayed till after mystikz set. back into the room at the beginning of skreams set to find silly amounts of bait gurners and general waste. it felt a bit like an episode of nathan barley had spilled out into the room. wasn't feelin the tunes bein played at the time anyway so ducked early. this vibe was preceeded by 2 hours of people walking around goin "what's all this rubbish. they should just bring on skream. yeah, skream's boom init", so i guess i shoulda half expected it.
anyway, had a good time up till then. really good warm up vibes from harry craze. dont remember much of dq's set but there was an excellent tune he played which sounded like a car being ripped inside out (it sounded better than that description does, honest). mala and loefah's tunes were dope as ever, however i'm really, really tired of hearing all those old coki wobblers. droppin spongebob after 666 and so on and so forth = *yawn*. those tunes are played out.
good to see a lot of people after such a long time and meet a whole bunch of new faces.

personally i had a proper booty-shakin moment of joy with skipple when skream turned funky on us at one point on saturday.
i'm takin this show on the road.
