Post by boomnoise » Mon Aug 21, 2006 4:58 pm

Anyone seen it yet?

Is it worth the cinema entry fee?

That looks amazing, wouldn't pay for it though, might see if I can get a job at Odeon just to spite Hollywood and really stick it to those film fucks.

Yeah, that'll show 'em
Hmm....

big waking life fan as well. might be one of the few movies from recent years i've rewatched. Scanner is sort of a let down. I don't think seeing it on a big screen does anything for it. Maybe wait for the DVD.

robert downey junior is hillarious though.

Should be pointed out that this is wrong. No Snakes on a Plane 2: Return of the Cobras if you do that.

Still, it's a good way to get free stuff though.
Hmm....

i find it unsettling, cause it looks kinda real but not real. which is like the worst reason ever, i appreciate.

I think that's kind of the point with both Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly.

They're supposed to depict a dream world and a drug-induced haze, respectively.
