Because I had loads of collage stuff to do which I explained a few posts back, so had no time to really customize the sounds, sort out the volume issue and pretty much get it to the 3-4 minute mark. I spent probably 2 hours starting it and then another 2 hours trying to get it to a standard it is now. I would obviously had preferred it if it had been released 3-4 minutes long rather than the 1 min stage.

Hands down Gold diaper! Besides the fact that it was a full tune, i would play that out no problem. Other tune can't do anything with. :/

I made that 'tune' in under 4 hours...

The song wasn't long enough or Mastered to any degree but how was it 'shit' I guess because it didn't sound like your wobbly, clean America turd dubstep, that all sound a bit too much like it's Rusko & Caspa it doesn't pass your 'not shit' grade. A fair comment would say what you didn't like about it. Hell looking at your comments I couldn't see one post in the Production forum? So you came in here first post... Did you boyfriend ring you on you 'cell phone' and tell you to check this shit out and then leave a comment like that? homophobe..

As has already been said you cannot even put a 1min tune vs a full 5 min track.

I didn't really think much of either of the tracks either. Nothing stood out, no hook.

The Demon track the bassline reminds me of the preset in Massive called Brutal Electro too much:(

I am not into gimmicky tracks either so found the 2nd track with the sample of Christopher Walker quite cringe worthy

Was expected a little more tbh.

nah it's not. It's just a sine wave from Albino that I processed through Flanger, Phaser, Bitchrusher, Phase Distortion etc.
I do have Massive, but it's the version with no present. If you get my drift

Awwww I'm at work and cant check the tracks out till i get home. Looking forward to checking the tunes out. Good to see a nice bit of competition in a forum that has been somewhat lacking in good chat recently.

Cool its all good bro. For me tho I try to make sure my main hook doesn't sound like a well known preset:)

And if their was a tune battle (there will not be) I would set if for a month so everyone has time to customize their sound rather than slapping together pre-made patches and sounds.

I'm extremely disappointed Junglistz. I had hoped after all the talking you might actually know what you are talking about but this tune is a joke.

The thing is, I actually prefer your track in terms of the music, drum programming, ideas etc... but the mix down, especially the drums, is absolutely dog shit.

Second track isn't really my thing but you could at least play it out and get a few jokes and the sound quality is at least crisp etc...

I know, the mixdown was terrible. The thing is I had no access to moniter so were relying on HD215's which are shite (seriously search them on google their like £20!) I tell you what, if you think you can do a better job with it you can have the project to see if you can work on it! (not said in a angry way lol) It's on Logic Pro 8 so I can zip it up and upload if for you if you want to give a go adding some extra life to it? And when I say have the project I don't mean all the rights to it, just sort of a joint project/remaster

Once again sorry to disappoint and come up with loads of excuses and sound like a broken record, but even you have to admit that £20 headphones + 4 hours does not = 4 minute, playable tune. I hade the imagination and the idea for the track but agree 100% it did not pull offf, mabey with some more time it would do, either way the offers their.
