Fucker costs 600 quid!! My 3 series cost 900 quid and its done me a lot more good than having a brick of a phone.

Leeds, basically I work in the accounting department. Although it is a trade job. We are based all over England though!

My job is recession proof so not worried on that count. My house has probably fallen in price but as I'm not looking to sell it's kinda irrelevant. Things will pick up by the time I look to move.

It's going to be a pretty gloomy christmas for a lot of people, but learning to be more frugal is sometimes a good life lesson and I doubt if it will be as bad as people are making out.

The company I work for is doing really well, but the umbrella company that has nothing to do with us is refusing to take on any more people or renew any contracts so we've lost people cause of it, even though we've got plenty (too much, overtime ahoy) of work available. One big client noticed that and isn't doing any more contracts with us anymore cause of it. Silly situation

Had some of our suppliers go into liquidation & some reps got redundant. Luckily we are pretty sound, being careful how we're spending our money.
But we are having to check sales and profit figures daily and compared to last year it's not great, but pretty steady.

Just need Xmas to kick in now :D

madrid is def not doing good.
ppl that usually can get a job in one week now struggle for at least a month.
my flatmate has been hunting for one for 3 weeks now and still no luck.. :(
heard about lots of clothes shops shutting down.
But I believe that all the hype in the media is making things worse because lots of ppl that are not really affected start to panic and stop buying shit they can actually still afford. Sales go down  unemployment.

I apologize for the judgmental generalization of bank clerks.

Well my girlfriend just got made redundant and between that and the fact that i'm out of pocket by about a G cos some tnuc who owes me won't pay (and yes i'm taking him to court) we might not be able to make rent next month and might both have to move back in with out parents...

The problem is then for me that it will be even harder for me to get to work than it already is (it currently takes me 1hr30 each way... but from my folks place it'll be more like 2hr30 :o)

Basically this shit has truly fucked me in the arse... no lube... no foreplay... nothing...

Couldn't really be more depressed about this shit!
