Heres a statement from TOV Music Group

Ez people,

The Main Arena will still be in full full Valve Force.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvinence caused.

However Funktion-One has been hired for the Dub-Step Arena.

Serious? The next crew look professional enough. They're covered some pretty good gigs i.e Massive attack, Underworld, Leftfield. I have faith, although I'm still bitterly disappointed. I already bought tickets anyway.

The only thing that bugs me about FWD is that it finishes at 3 and I'm miles from home. Thje taxi becomes the most expensive part of the night.

Funktion One are pretty well known in the world of big systems...

Correct me if i'm wrong but the rig used by DMZ in 3rd bass is Funktion One and i think we all agree it sounded heavy.

In that case I don't think there's any need to panic. lol. DMZ is louder than loud.

Man, this is such a let down. The biggest thing about this night was to finally hear proper dubstep on the legendary valve sound system. Funktion1s are a nice range of speakers and I think even comprise part of the valve sound system but there's just no comparing the bass... that's what maks valve so special. I dunno I think this is bullshit now... plus f1s take highly experienced engineers a lot of work to setup great and I doubt they will have it fine tuned for a one off night... so a long running club installation like FWD will sound much better because it's been tested and tweaked over a period of time.

This is a big loss :(

i predict it will still blow bits of sweetcorn out of your arse

they may just forego any tweaking and turn the volume to 11
