Unless you have copyright of the tune (as in a dated package of it sitting infront of you, unopened) you can't moan at all..

I wouldn't send my tunes to anyone who I didn't trust with them..

You can't do ANYTHING unless you have a form of copyright what will stand up in court for this tune so .. really you're just giving a producer/DJ a bad name for your own mistake..If you was a serious producer you would of went to court and won behind closed doors instead of trying to ruin someones reputation cause you don't know how to look after your work! Even if this is your tune, I have no sympathy tbh...If you was a professional you would of done it a totally different way instead of pointing the finger and blaming to, well practically the world! I don't care that its rusko cause tbh I am not much of a fan but the man makes a living purely on this reputation, think before you act..

I really dont think this guy is looking for a court settlement. This is a matter of principle. He blatantly sent the tune to Rusko to get it played in the first place. Its just a fucking joke that Rusko has decided to take credit for it. This isnt some sort of legal battle.

At the end of the day... Rusko makes people go sick at raves... now im not saying what he does is what i love about dubstep... but there is a time and place for everything... If people are playing your tunes without asking you... the least they can do is credit you for making it... its almost humiliating having your tune 'stolen' from you...

so settle yourself down judge judy... and lets see what happens.

You can't just give your own work away to people willy nilly and expect to not have a bumpy road...

still bullshit that Rusko just straight up took the tune and made it 'his', I think thats ridiculous. You're right in the sense that you should be careful who he sends his dubs to, but its fucked on Rusko's part.

- Smokah could and should have handled this differently...he should have covered his arse better before he started sending his dubs out to people...i definately agree with this...

- there are alot of people talking alot of shit in this thread already and it is only going to get worse...i think everyone needs to chill out and wait for a response from Rusko...

- however IF and i repeat IF this is all true then it is a pretty fucked up situation tbh...i mean i would never imagine one of the big name DJs/Producers doing this kind of shit...i am struggling to believe that there isn't a logical explanation for all of this and personally i am going to give Rusko the benefit of the doubt until he chooses to respond to these allegations...

regardless of how this is settled, stealing another artists tune is ridiculous, especially if you're established. i think he deserves to get his rep stomped if the allocations are true. regardless, i hope this is settled quickly with as little drama as possible.
