I'm there. Might show my face Sunday but will do it properly on Monday. Just hope the weathers not shit. I'm bringing some mates of mine from France to show them whatsup.
Any chance of hearing any dubstep? If so where?
Sundays 6-8pm Frontline 101.7FM
DJ E.N.S. playing ukg and dubstep

i don't think there's any official dubstep. possible you might catch some on various soundsystems

as for recommendations, this is only my second time. looking to go to all the old reggae and roots ones though - abi shanti on monday, channel one, saxon sound etc. oh yeh, and the cmc/matrix dnb system went offfffff last year :D

Isn't there a map somewhere showing where the sound systems are?

Sound systems at Notting Hill Carnival

Locations of all the sound systems. Hopefully I will be loitering near Aba Shanti or Channel 1.

Turned out nice in the end tho eh? :)

In the end I took all three of my kids (which was easier than I thought) but that meant I had to stay sober (which was harder than I thought!)

Spent most of the day hanging round the Aba Shanti system and letting the kids run round the park near the Red Bull stage.

My nine year old finally "got" dub as he got rattled by the Aba Shanti system!

Good weather (better then they forecast anyways), good music and good vibes.

Went yesterday, was way too knackered to go again today, but Aba Shanti was rockin, wicked steppers dub for the last couple of hours, heavy heavy bassline pressure!

Co-op was cool aswell, didnt stay there too long... most of my mates were at Good Times, was fuckin rammed by that system, but Norman Jay dropped some wicked classic house and funk.
