Rusko & Caspa are brilliant DJs, I'm always impressed when they play the real roots reggae stuff... They obviously have a huge love and appreciation for reggae music (way more than most people on here).

Caspa and Rusko mash it in the dance, plain and simple, this deep vs. dancefloor schizm is a bunch of BS. everyone goes around spouting that they love how diverse dubstep is, and yet when a tune that comes out that offends their "musical ideals" they shit all over it, "it's ruining my genre, blah blah blah".

Give me a break, its a many-sided genre, pick what you like and leave the rest, people are gonna make/listen the music that speaks to them, a vast majority of "dubstep" that I hear isn't particularly appealing to me, but you don't hear me whining.

Instead of bigging down Rusky and Caspa, why not just try bigging up and promoting artists you *DO* like. They're hard working guys, and they deserve what they've worked out for themselves. This is a scene built on positive vibes, but it's harder and harder to remember that every day.

Caspa and Rusko=ok
Certain elements of their fanbase=not ok

but then again,

certain elements of Burial's fanbase=not ok

Ignore the goons and the trendies, ignore everyone, focus on the beats and the bass. You'll live longer.

I have a mate who always comes up and does this! i say i will then play some deep/ good jump up tunes i like in hope of leading him to better things. If caspa and rusko are in to been entry level dubstep then too bad for them for lowering them selfs to such a level. Then again their just printing their own money, how many people could say they would'nt do that if you where not in their place? Be honist now... 8)
