Sorry its myspazz because im not at my house to post a proper quality one.
i like the tune, there's a nice balance of harsh digital bass/synth work and 'real' percussion. the mix sounds clean and good (at least i think, myspace player...). you're right about the bass, if i were you i'd increase the bass notes' decay and throw just a little bit of reverb on there. i think a high passed delay could work as well.
the other tunes are sick too, 1.21 Gigawatts is heavy!! Part Time funk is even heavier, but I wish you'd lose the cutty ranks sample. :) .

i've just rendered a clip of a tune i've been working on, a bit of an eastern vibe.. feedback appreciated of course!

www.myspace.com/dnbtmsv for the rest of my productions.. there's another flash player under the myspace one, 128kbps, a lot better than myspace quality
yeah man i really like the sidechain compression in sentinelese. the second track on your myspace is cool also. nice mix on both.

I didnt sample cutty ranks, which bit anyways?? a clip would be appreciated :)
'6 million ways to die'. you didn't sample cutty ranks, but this bit is in every pack on the internet :D . it's been overused a bit imo. the tune sounds good none the less so you could tell me to fuck off anyway :P

and thanks for the positive comments:)

I never realised it was cutty. And yeah i heard the sample and reminded me of the jungle dayz, so i had to use it caught up in a moment of nostalgia!

Nice sounds and nice structure, bit minimal imo, try create more movement with the hats. Bass sort of sound needs backing up or some accompaniment *low + mid + high*. Then work on melody / key changes also.

Sorry I couldnt get back to this thread earlier .

Johnny Beat - G E P I _remix around_ 2

I liked this , but just as I started to get into it it cut off. I couldnt figure out what the lyrics were saying
but they sounded pretty cool. If it were me I might take the tune into a second segment with the drums chopped up more
and a weird bassline with some effects on the vocals , then back into the first part . I also really liked the melodies
melodies of the synth line , it sounded a little thin though ... it would be cool if over the course of the track it grew
into a fatter sound.

Chris H - I listened to Insomnia and Massive when the thread started , but they dont seem to be on the player and I dont remem
ber them to review . I just listened to Computer Music .. The best part of this track is that off beat synth line you have
in there. Like at 2:21 and 2:35. The drums didnt do much for me. I would like to have hear more focus on that synth line ,
and then hear it dropped as a deep bassline.

Brisance - says tune was deleted ~?

Manray - Clockwork

Great fucking tone on the bassline. I still cant produce a tone like this so even if it is standard you are doing something
right. The clip was too short for me to get to deep into it , but you could take this anywhere. More beats made out of clock samples
with effects , then an alarm clock timestretched and drop the bassline down an octave , this has potential.

Rendr - Trackie

Clean fucking tone. I like the mellow , dark feel of this. I cant keep things clean like this. Id be throwing in drum fills
blasted with fucking delay and whatnot.

Legendary - qqee

This is allright i guess. id loosen it up a little , how can i say it , it sounds like youre playing it safe not taking any chances

Dubson - Apollo

Pretty fucking chill tune. If it were me Id work on adding some slight variations on the programming and effects and
whatnot throughout the tune , work on the tone of the bassline and stuf

Sterling - Scorchio

I loved the intro of this tune and a lot of sounds used in it , not really feeling the 4-4 snares

I refixed Computer Music some by adding more of the funky delayed synth stuff, and I added a Sub to get more low end vibrations going. I also added some different reverb to some pieces.

I played around with distortions & all sorts of other effects, but for me they just didn't sound right with this one. Maybe it's just me? Dunno, but pretty happy with the refix just hope it sounds OK on other peoples systems.

I'll listen to other peoples new tunes later. I need to get back to approving time cards for my employees.
