Install plugin-open cubase- then Devices-->Plug-in information--> Update

Now this vsti should appear in your vst instruments list. If it doesn't, then it probably does not work in Cubase (like many other FREE plugins).

with Cubase you need to put it into Steinberg > Cubase 4 (sure its the same for all versions)> VST Plugins

Freeware? I like Synth1 and FreeAlpha is pretty sick too.. I'm not one to ask about freeware though - I'm in debt cause of my impulsive VST purchases :oops:

I use..

FM8
Syntheth1
Guitar Rig

:U:

Best bit really is to just go grab demos and find what ones suit you - I used to have like 6 freewares I constantly use.....Now I just use 2 synths and guitarrig - good purchase - just find what you like :)
