in this guys defense
replicating other peoples sounds is a good way of developing your own sound- including bits and pieces from this and that

like a jigsaw puzzle.

on the other hand
he obviously hasn't looked very hard to find out or he'd have found the rusko masterclass on these very forums.
what a wasteman

MERRY XMAS!

lulz :P

To get a hard edged midrange 'bass'....... Distort the midrange to fuck using any distortion unit. Wobble etc is still done the old skool way though...

watch all the parts of this, rusko explains a bit about his basslines
Is it me or does rusko come off as really endearing in this?

I like him much more now!

oh shit
well im gonna give you some advice

each producer in the dubstep world did not go round asking for bass patches or bass noises

so what this means is
hours upon hours of them siting in front of that bastard computer
making bass's and discovering new tactics will all go to waste

its jus plain simple logic

its like you tryna swap a 1p for a fookin £20 note press straight from the queens fat ass

so people dont realise the more u sit practicing the more unique and mad ur bass is

on the other hand i am not scrooge
and the bass comes from the effects

i use 3 osciallators
one sub:sine
one mid range:sawtooth
one high freq:rez wave

then i use the eq
i put the mid range up until it sounds raw
if it doesnt i boost the bass
then add an extra eq and add more midd and top end
i then use a slight disstortion
and then a bit crusher
make it sounds nasty
then eq.
then eq out all the freq i dont want
and finnaly
the piester resistance
compress

but this is all my hard work bein undone to satisfy lazy people
so the moral of this tellin off is to sit the fuck down until u scream 'ureaka'
i feckin got it.
