Nice! Just grabbed some tunes on the site! The wife will hate me, I just bought some tunes from Chemical this morning, bought a load on Beatport last week along with some old speed garage tracks on feebay, and now an order at 404. I need to chill on the tunes.

i would love to be buying states-side, but redeye still beats these prices. the way the xchange rate is a 12" costs $7 from there. $25 for skreamizm 5 is a rinse compared to $12.25 from redeye.

Yeah unfortunately we can't make it any cheaper. Skreamizm 5 is on sale but like you said a 12" is just over $7. That's less than we're getting records at wholesale for. The exchange rate is really low compared to what it has been, but unfortunately those savings aren't passed down to me

My store (Anthem Records) sends out a weekly list which is the full export offering of S.T./Load/SRD/ETC, complete with reviews and audio links. All you do is email us back what you want. All individual 12"s are $10.99, and when it's in we just call you for a CC #. The list is managed by Ryan Organ. If you want on the list, E mail ryanorgan (at) Gmail . com. Oh, & btw, we are located in Portland oregon.

I usually use Chemical and a local shop called Grooveriders. The last few visits have me sifting through the same old shiz, but their buyer definitely knows what's up.

Word its tough getting a good selection stateside for real especially if you're not a major player.

I just got off the phone with Erik at Breakbeatscience/Halcyon in Brooklyn and he'll place orders for you if you know what you want. Dude was able to grab a couple Quest and Mala joints that I couldn't find anywhere over here. pm me for his info they're definitely good ppl.

Wholesale prices have dropped significantly over the past few months. Unless shipping is free from the UK & your credit card company doesn't charge additional conversion fees, stateside customers can hardly argue vinyl is that much more expensive to buy domestically.

There are plenty of shops in North America that do a great job staying competitive with UK web shops. Supporting these shops is essential for the music’s culture.

big ups (in no particular order)... jon/ryan @ anthem, mayhem @ 404, erik @ halcyon/bbs, brett @ bbs dot com, graham/mike @ vital, the amoebas, jon @ metamusik, luke/hazen @ grooveriders, todd @ lab, kyle @ climate control, seth @ love vinyl, doug @ grand poo bas, cameron @ skullyz, kippy/brandon @ the platinums, avi @ beat street, rob @ foosh, ryan @ play de record, ras g @ poo bas, jason @ fabrik/vigilante, bryan @ dj culture, ben @ milk, chris @ rec shop, ross @ trainspotters, jens @ barts, henry @ ear candy... & numerous other shops, but don't think they read this board anyway, so apologies if you're not mentioned. :D

Happy New Year, let’s hope for a better one!

**EDIT**
In regards to the Skream LP being $12... in all honesty that's below cost price even at the distributor level. I highly doubt those are regular prices, otherwise they'd be going out of business. They must be sitting on excess stock & trying to unload them quickly. There's deals to be had in the US as well, you just need to ask around. If you need help finding a local record shop, hit us up. http://www.myspace.com/sectormedia
