recording from my decks to computer help

hi im quite new to mixxing, ive had my decks and mixxer for about a month now and although still really learning want to record my shambolic mixxing to listen back and see just how awfull i am!!

ive got a lead from the record output of the mixxer to the mic jack on my laptop.

but need ideas of what software to get.

mm audacity will work but also will sound a bit crap if you do it through mic input. better to get an external soundcard and plug the output of ur mixer into this then record in audacity. http://www.roland.com/products/en/FA-66/index.html is a good one

I use a tascam cc-222 to record mixes onto cd.
