When I was in 2nd grade or so, I got the bright idea to bury a dollar that I got from my mom for some charity at school in the mud on the playground. Sure enough, I couldn't find it after I buried it (not sure what I was expecting).
I was convinced my parents would freak out if they found out I lost a dollar (not sure why I thought that), so I had to track down some money to return to my parents (since I didn't give it to the charity, I had no proof of donation, and my parents would want some sort of explanation).
During class after recess I saw some number of coins sitting on a peer's desk, so I lifted it (without counting it). I continued to not count it until I returned it to my parents that night, it ended up being like $1.45 in coins, so my parents were a little concerned as to why they gave me a dollar to donate to charity, and I came back with more than a dollar in coins to return to them.
I balked and explained the whole thing to them. I made an apology to the kid in class and ended up grounded for a week or something.
Solid plan, but I haven't stolen anything since.

I used to steal boxes of blank tapes from this "church" spiritual living center like 14 years ago...
But when I just started shoplifting I made my best friend come witness the glory so we lied, rode our bikes to this drug store and I proceeded to show off my new skills...
I got caught.
For stealing a snickers bar...
And 1 water balloon.
tnuc. I stopped stealing after that haha

LOL i did something simillar, we had some sponsor thing at school where we had to do press ups, sittups, laps etc with some famous athlete (cant remember who) so i did it all properly and collected the cash and handed it in to the school and that was that... but, my devious plan was that i had photocopied the sponsor form before anyone had filled it in, then went round a few months later with the fresh form and said we were doing it again.Stenchman wrote:god that jus reminded me of something i had pushed to the back of my mind, when i was a kid me and my mate nicked an empty charity box, and went door to door round the neighbourhood collecting, got loads of money (well about 20 quid but at that age i thought that would buy me a house of something ) ahhh memories of youthjackieboi wrote:money out the collection box at a church![]()

A mate of mine once taxed the fucking huge metal "E" from the sign of a local establishment while utterly shitfaced. He had no memories of doing it & just woke up with this 3 foot tall chromed "E" in his living room that weighed a fucking tonne, & loads of cuts & bruises of course. He must have been like spiderman. Inspired.
