There's a lot of people who don't really participate actively on message boards who make incredible music, they dig their own tunes, and require no external validation. Getting to know people personally, rather than publicly, will always be the best way to share music.
Since this is the production thread, I think producers are looking for more technical FB as well, also I don't really have any friends who are producers outside of this forum, so it works pretty well for me
plus FB can do the opposite of what serox said, it can inspire you and give you a bit more motivation

yeah and not to be a prat but its obvious that the best producers don't need to post tunes and get feedback. horses don't go in the backs of wagons.

mmm I was replying to dysplasia's comment.
I'm always trying to get people to listen to my tunes, and usually regretting it afterwards.

Dussky:
Your tune is pretty eerie & creepy - it works really well. The drums are very nice. I don't think I would change a thing.
s & m:
I really liked Base & Are We Free. I liked the latter a bit better, it seemed more complete somehow. Overall, your tunes are very well put together, and the sounds are def good.
I uploaded a new tune to the Virb page. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it. It's my first real remix attempt. It's kind of sort of dubstep I guess. Feedback would be rad. It's called Hand That Dubs You - intro is pretty long, just FYI.

Cool - thanks. Critique at will. I am still trying to learn, find my sound, figure out how to get the sounds out of my head & into a tune, etc. Especially this track, I just don't know how I feel about it for some reason.

Dig the bass & drum sounds, but the beeps get a bit annoying to me. Has potential for sure.
And I lied about mine, my NIN remix blows. I listened to it again, and no bueno.

i love that vocal sample- very creepy and stalkerish. Is it Dido or just a sound alike?
All I can suggest is that perhaps a beefier snare would fit the dirty bassline better
Definitely feelin the track though man nice one

can't go wrong with Dido, the airiness of her voice is what makes her so good for sampling in dark tunes, as you obviously know
what are you using atm for this tune?

reason 4, my pc isnt quite powerfull enough to do what i want in rewire mode, so i have to build the tune as good as i can in reason, then record all the parts to live, then i can start using plug ins once ive shut reason down
