Certainly one of the smoothest and yet at the same time techy records in the collection and one that still now sounds so incredibley fresh:

Lots of great liquid records where released in that year if memory serves.

It's not really liquid in the 'Hospital' vain, but Ben Sage is one you should look out for.
Beautiful, beautiful drum and bass. A lot of his tracks take influence from atmospheric, swirly, trancey sort of things. Its good.
I wouldn't recommend liquid at all really (just my opinion - don't really like it) but this is worth a listen.

If you're into liquid d'n'b, those tunes will blow your mind.
A lot of people have advised listening to stuff by Marcus Intalex. His two labels - Soul:r and Signature - are amazing. Any tunes on those labels are wicked.
Can't remember what it's called, but Calibre and Klute have done a tune together thats an absolute killer.
Anything by Intalex, Calibre, Klute, Marky, Makoto or Doc Scott is always worth looking into.

Would that be 'Losing You' on Commercial Suicide from about '05-'06? That tune is a pure cracker!Charlie_G wrote: Can't remember what it's called, but Calibre and Klute have done a tune together thats an absolute killer.

The one I was thinking of is called 'Freedom Come' from Klute's album Emperor's New Clothes.
Good call though. 'Losing You' is another great, deep tune (it has vocals on by Kiyomi - is that the one you mean?).
Anything by Klute or Calibre is always high quality d'n'b.
Calibre's productions in particular are always sublime. Late Night Squeeze EP, Corner Dance EP, Hustlin' and Carry Me Away are just deep, deep, deep.
