Love the synth work on this one, especially the beginning where it sounds like it's set at 1/16 and carries the tune to the actual bass line coming in - it's very different then most DS. Cool sound. The samples are cool, and I like the drum work on it. Would like a 320 of this if you're still sharing.

loved the intro - thought that maybe it could have been even longer, double in fact. Drums are crisp, hit hard and have a nice subtle groove to em!
Sample wise really rated the scratch/slow fill thing, and the high pitched synth wobble after the 'pure bass' vocal at the end of the first drop. Also the door creak, tiny delayed bits inc. the reverbed snare? and the delay synth bit before the bitcrushed wobble at the the end of the first body. [ its crap quicktime doesn't show the track time so i can say what exact point!]
It might have been good hear more of this last synth bit come back later in the track or the the scratch thing later to cut it up a bit more maybe as the bass is fat (and its crafty how its got quite a lot of the higher frequency range but still stays clear and doesn't mess with the low end of the kick btw!), but it doesn't vary that much if you think its the main bit that stands out in the track. Its hard to tell from the short clip but it felt like there could have been a bit more progression maybe. But you might have done something else in the track after the clip ends, or i reckon it might be because you were going for a more minimal/ upfront style that leaves room for a longer mix in a set. (I like loads of progression/things a bit more all over the shop for quick cuts in the mix).
fooking banger all in all, would love to hear the full thing, in 320 format if there's any left

take it with a pinch of salt i would say...because i spent a couple of hours on it, and therefore chucked it as a 320 on DSF...so take it or leave it.vendetta wrote:loved the intro - thought that maybe it could have been even longer, double in fact. if interested in progressive dubstep where alot of time has been spent on the music and arrangements, we wont give those away in such a hurry but feel free to buy more progressive well thought-out material from our store, listen to our other tracks on myspace, or wait forthcoming "premium" material.
