A 120/160 bitrate mp3? Or does it automaticaly change it to a 320?
In the settings, you choose the bitrate of the mp3, then right click- convert to mp3.
am sorry but when it comes 2 iTunes i done know much lol
where is the setting for choosing the birtate i checked and could not find it :|
itunes doesnt use lame codec if i recall and does shit to "enhance" your original wav i recall reading somewhere

I don't buy shit from itunes store, but their free tuesday tracks sometimes sneak aboard, they all come in at 128kbps. Fuck knows what they come in at if you buy from them, I'm still a big fan of having tangible and tactile media infront of me, be it vinyl, cd, or cassette.

The quote just means, afaict, that converting a 128 mp3 to a 320 mp3 won't improve the sound quality - if you want to get 320 quality then you want to encode the 320 from the original wav.

Btw, there are about a bajillion free wav to mp3 converters out there, and apart from the choices of bitrate and codec no two of them are any different in terms of quality.
