itunes doesnt use lame codec if i recall and does shit to "enhance" your original wav i recall reading somewhereNitz wrote:am sorry but when it comes 2 iTunes i done know much lolDepone wrote:In the settings, you choose the bitrate of the mp3, then right click- convert to mp3.Sqwol wrote:Just to clarify, when I export a song out of Reason as WAV. then convert it in itunes to an mp3, what am I ending up with exactly?
A 120/160 bitrate mp3? Or does it automaticaly change it to a 320?
where is the setting for choosing the birtate i checked and could not find it
i'd avoid that piece of bloatware
hmm so what is the best way then?Deadly Habit wrote:itunes doesnt use lame codec if i recall and does shit to "enhance" your original wav i recall reading somewhereNitz wrote:am sorry but when it comes 2 iTunes i done know much lolDepone wrote:In the settings, you choose the bitrate of the mp3, then right click- convert to mp3.Sqwol wrote:Just to clarify, when I export a song out of Reason as WAV. then convert it in itunes to an mp3, what am I ending up with exactly?

have a look for your self un less it is create a AAC version

The quote just means, afaict, that converting a 128 mp3 to a 320 mp3 won't improve the sound quality - if you want to get 320 quality then you want to encode the 320 from the original wav.Sqwol wrote:I just found that quote above on a forum and it made me think I was possibly missing a step in terms of getting the best quality file.
