Wasn't that half the fun though!? We'd kick it and play legos or some shit while the games loaded.

I had one! And a ZX81, speccy +2, Dragon, blah blah. I used to love computers, now I hate the fucking things and only use them as a device / tool rather than for the love of using them if that makes sense. O_o

Out to my TRS(TRASH)80 and my Commodore 64.

Still regularly visit the oldschool BBS systems and stomp fools in BBS Door games. Legend of the Red Dragon crew.

I had a commodore 64 loved the james bond games and robocop vs terminator. Loved the fact you could copy a game using high speed dubbing on a cassette deck! lol

who remembers this bad boy, it was a PC with a megadrive / genesis built in!

Amstrad Mega PC

Soon followed by a NES, that my mums friend travelled an hour or so to pick up off some guy in The Loot, and brought back to ours at about 2am. Must have been '91. My mum let me stay up (didn't tell me why) and then it arrived! She let me play for about half an hour before telling me I'll have to continue in the morning. Good times :)
