(UPDATE) NEW LABEL LAUNCHING THROUGH DTO4MUSIC.CO.UK
(UPDATE) NEW LABEL LAUNCHING THROUGH DTO4MUSIC.CO.UK
(JUS A SMALL UPDATE ON THE FIRST RELEASE, A LIL PRESS .... )
eze peeps.....
heres some info on a new label launching in february, its a digital label called "6 feet below sound" and it will be distributed through "dto4music.co.uk" ... heres a few words from the distributers themselves
"This site has been born out of the love for real underground music and the frustration of saturated, commercial and ultimately watered down music stores.
We at DTO believe in Quality not Quantity. Were not looking to have 1000 new downloads a week and certainly not looking for anyone or everyone to sell music here. Were looking for quality underground labels to sell their tracks in short-term exclusive or rolling non-exclusive contracts. Labels will be guaranteed features, front-page coverage, first class marketing and extremely competitive prices. We want to work with the labels in pushing music we believe in, creating a one-stop shop for djs, producers and underground music lovers everywhere.
DTO will be the home of exclusive labels, which will be unavailable anywhere else on the web. J-Tek, Backlash, Digilab, 6 feet below sound, global plan and paramaterz are to name a few. These downloads will not be found on any other sites. All labels will be encouraged (with incentives) to offer exclusive downloads giving the customer an enhanced shopping experience.
Not only will DTO be selling music but also royalty free, genre specific sample packs aimed at producers. Think of the combined sample library that the labels and producers using DTO can generate. This we believe will be a great revenue generator for labels and an invaluable service for our customers looking to produce their own tracks. Samples straight from the source of the music they know and love! only at DTO!
For the customer this all works in their favour. No more searching through loads of crap, looking for that little gem. No more struggling to find that underground sound you want. No more being sick and tired of the stale, finance driven and lifeless downloads stores. On DTO your GOING to get that underground gem, at fair prices, with no stress and thats a promise.
Also only available at DTO, is our competitive pricing structure, in which, we reward customers who support the site. If you buy full EP'S or Albums you can save up to 33% on each download
yes thats right up to 33% discount!"
ok.. so that was the distributers bit.. now to the release info... for the first release we have to tracks from R.Demon - Macabre unit ... these 2 tracks are
..
Frisky/Dead street .........
FRISKY : Kicking off in typical haunting Macabre fashion, Frisky grabs your attention immediately with sinister stabs before tribal drums build and suck you in further.
The drop is a anticipated by a rasping 2562-esque buildup, before a punchy triplets drum beat and some year 3000 techno combine for one deep rompa-stompa. As the tune progresses it reverts to a more tribal feel, still oozing elements of sound like they were sampled from 1000 years from now. One for the deeper heads, if you're feeling Headhunters kinda sound, this one you!
DEAD STREET : Seen Jurassic Park? Listening to the intro of Dead Street is like running from that f**king T-Rex, looking behind you, dodging things as you sprint through the pouring rain, scared sh*tless. Another haunter, with the indomitable Macabre sound. Swirling, snarling synths, pulsating punchy bass and some crispy intricate drums, coupled with stabs that will have you pulling out all sorts of shapes in the dance.
R.Demon proves once again you don't need bare wobble to make a hard hitting dark dancefloor tune.
