Finally at home. First DMZ for me and what a night! Loved every set, but Hijaks one was too large for me.

Don't think i've had that much fun partying since the good old days of 92 / 93... serious man.. DJs, MCs, the crowd, the system (eventually) all absolutely f**king rocked!!!

Noticed there were less rewinds.. .... was a good thing!

Thought it wasn't as rammed as before either.. was also a good thing.

Extra big up to Pinch for some serious heavy business!!!! I was loving that sound mate.....

GUTTED that no-one could get Dubaholic sneaked into their set... :) BIG TUNE!!!!!

Just remembered my favourite DMZ moment.

It was when Mala was playing one of his new dubs (can't remember it now) but it was obviously quite special for Mrs Mala who went round the front and was gazing at him lovingly. Awww.

this dmz was large though have to sy that... sets where tight crowwd was live.. it was a nice night. from 11-5 i skanked.. i ran out of energy had to sit in my bro's car outside and eat a tuna sandwhich( i hate fish).. but i was feeling for a munch so bad...i think i was a bit lean cos it tasted so bomm.. cant wait till the next dmz in nov.. until then i got fwd which is just as big. see those who attend there this friday.. just ask for me someone bound to point me out.

atki2 wrote:Yeah, was a good night, very glad I came up from Bristol. Agree that Pinch played set of night, followed by Youngsta. Was a bit disappointed with Kromestar to tell the truth, found his set a bit ploddy, and dmz played some nice exclusives but all those rewinds totally disrupted the flow.

Great to catch up with loads of folk though - big ups Ali, Derek, Simon KCP and B.
Yeh good to catch up wiv u mr atki2. Nice surprise.
