NEW CANADIAN DUBSTEP - "P-80 - Punims Wobble" 320k

Post by aaronpatey » Mon Jan 12, 2009 12:30 am

Heres some new dubstep for all you heads, and even the naysayers! 320kbps Mp3!

Its entitled "Punims Wobble".

What is a Punims, you ask? Well, its actually the name of my friends cat, who has an inner ear problem.
This causes him to be wobbly and all over the place! Funnest cat to get drunk with, ever. Anyway, this track is for him.

Note the feline samples! Feedback welcomed!

I'll bite...first off the mixdown sounds pretty tight. everything seems to sit fairly nicely and nothing is fighting for space. I liked the vibe you created in the intro and maintained as a motif throughout.

What I wasn't particularly feeling though was the wobble, to me it just sounded too "generic".

A solid effort man, keep at it! 8)

Thanks for the feeds!

As for the wobble, I was actually trying to go for a simple sound in this track.

Check out some more of my tunes if you want some different sounds!

I feel ya man, simple is good, just felt it could have used a little something special to make is seem less like "ye-olde wub wub" ;)

Will check your other stuff on your page...

I think I remember seeing you actually posted on our Aufect facebook page...Did Cure sort you?

Nice track man. Definitely feelin' it. Keep it up. I like the bassline a lot but it could use some variation in the oscillators instead of just a square the whole time. Just my humble opinion though. Sweet tune nonetheless. It's nice to hear some more quality Canadian dubstep.

you have a really dope style mr. P-80, all of your tunes are very atmospheric yet have great wobble and energy to them, a good combo

still have Codine Kids in the current rotation so this will be another good addition

thanks a lot, keep it up
