Zhao, theres an interesting article in the latest Groove (p.66, Clubmusik aus Africa, Die Brücke) that talks about the computer (as a universal instrument) and the internet opening doors for African producers, tunes sampling tribal chants and percussion vs beats programmed in Africa etc.
A tune is a tune regardless of where its from, but I'm looking forward to hearing whats being knocked out on battered Pentium IIs with bootleg software in Lagos and Nairobi.
