Id forgotten most of the night apart from being aurally raped by the valve system (first time ) so looked it up on dontstayin, then thought Id post here!

Id heard a lot of dubstep on t'internet radio stations etc, but the first time i managed to catch any dubstep live was at the TDK festival a few summers back with Digital Mystiks and Mary Anne Hobgoblin
first time i heard dubstep and already knew what it was i have no idea who i saw, i actually went to see dieselboy, hive, gridlok, and photek, but there was some awesome dubstep in the "side room".
first time i went SPECIFICALLY for dubstep was to see Breakage, D-Code, and Kozee at Fat City. was a great show.
it was above some bar in a tiny smoke filled room in Toronto, there were about 10 people there sitting on couches/dancing and an old guy was playing garage/2-step, then man switched over...

first time i saw dubstep spun live was caspa in room 1 at fabric, i wanna say back in feb 08 but i dnt have a clue really. the first solely dubstep night was mala at exeter castle, in october, a very heavy night big up the deep end
cud have been ape at the apollo in like april 07???......no specific dubstep artists but rich reason may have droppped summit, if not then it was prob skream at jabez clegg summer 07. BAD!!
No idea, I know I heard Dubstep before I had any idea what it was though in Leeds. I can't remember at all though what my 1st gig that I went to because it was Dubstep was lol
loefah in cologne. when he dropped the first tune (a generous grime track) i HAD to dance, then he dropped the bug - poison dart, mud and and and... i nearly shit my pants b2b the happiest face because it was the first time i heard these tracks on a big system!
it was shit, totally put me off going to dubstep nights for ages, i still think a whole night of just dubstep is boring now, if the artist is really really interesting it's bearable, I saw Bass Clef later that year and it blew my mind, restored a bit of faith.
