I am assuming that by using the term acid in reference to music you mean tracks that utilize the 303. So with that in mind here is a short list for now.

Lets see:RootS :Phuture "Acid Tracks"
Armando "The Poke"
Mr Fingers "The Washing Board"
Anything by Spanky
Roy Davis JR. "acid trax"

Recent: Ceephax Acid Crew
Luke Vibert "Yoseph" : http://www.warprecords.com/lukevibert/video.html

I'll think of some more.

Acid: Maurice Joshua and Hot Hands Hula "This Is Acid"

Classic: A Guy Called Gerald "Voodoo Ray"

First track was released in 1988 and the second track in 1989!!!!

I remember hearing these tracks in the clubs when they first came out, which makes me just about old enough to be your daddy!!

Very cool post!!! Anyone else?

Dubway... Go pick yourself up both volumes of the Soul Jazz acid comps released earlier this year, if you've not done already. Tons of classic acid, such as This Is Acid, Acid Over etc, all repressed LOUD. Picked up both doublepacks for a tenner each.

Wicked stuff...getting hold of the UI records is a challenge, especially for a decent price!!
