That kick is large, sounded nice and clean through my system. The "ha ha" vocal stabs made me laugh when they first came in, but really nestled into the mix. The tune progresses nicely, well layered nicely mixed, good tune.

Really liking the style of this and the vocal snippets too.

The only things I would say is that the vocal is a bit loud at points and the reverb on the snare seems to dip out harshly when the kick hits.

Good work all the same tho! :D

think the loudness in the vocal is due to the panning..when the panning centers that's when it is at it's loudest...the snare could be a bit bigger (but that's me...don't like it when it's drowned in reverb)..nice tune..

Really liking this tune.

I agree with the previous comments that the vox is a bit on the loud side - no need to worry about panning though - just turn it down a bit

The kick is LARGE. Perhaps a bit too large for my tastes. I would prefer less kick and a bit more sub freqs on the bass - thats just me and my very ignorable ways tho.

Looking foreward to hearing more of your stuff.

:D

can understand your point of view concerning the vocal stabs, will fix that up soon when i'm back at home. thanx a lot for all the useful feedback, will inform you when the fixed up version is up!

@dice: i love reverb-drowned snares. that was the first thing i fell in love with classic dub records :)

@i978: on the website http://rakkas.org you can download all of the other tracks i've done before as high quality mp3s but don't expect too much, as even this is just the 4th tune i've done in my entire life.

liking this a lot. sweet wobble bass and a distinctive snare sound make this stand out. Good ragga vocal (although sounds strangely compressed maybe?).

Good variation especially with the 2nd bass sound around 2.40. Good variation on the snare too and good ethnic type echo drums in the background. Excellent rhythm on the snare.

dmz flavours especially around 4 mins. breakdown is good but could maybe be tighter/more defined...? maybe also some atmos under the track at regular intervals/whatever to give more depth to the elements...

also the bass drum sounds a bit clicky/redrum maybe layer it with something deeper?

Excellent track all round. Good and catchy whilst being minimal and low.
