I put it to you that LFO invented Dubstep in 1989. Or that.. etc...

Dabrye definitely came before the current Dubstep we have now though.

For me the most "dubstep" sounding track which was around years before the genre became popularised was 'solaris' by photek of off the solaris l.p

That's sick that this is being mentioned here, was just telling one of the UB homies about this. The Muslimgauze sound was way ahead of its time.
