Something I just through together, will add some bassline variation etc soon but for now I'd appreciate a little feedback from you ppl. 8
tried to listen to your tune but it came up with nothing, just asked me to create an account?? Fuck knows!!!

LEGENDARY
- You didnt say which tune it was on your myspace so i assumed it was the first. Pretty strange method of building your tune up there with the fades out and in, it was cool - kinda weird but still cool.

Drop is fucking dutty!!!Nice wan!! problem with listening to all you stnuc tunes is that its always at night so im pretty much reduced to my headphones - even so though this tune was sick. Liked the jerky bass noise you had in the intro.

Hehe I just did the fade bit cause I heard somewhere, if you have a short tune, myspace compresses it less cause it only compresses the file type so I just faded out - cut 20-30 seconds off then faded it back in  .

Thanks though, big ups.

p.s the first bassline is the first drop whats quite dubby like - while the 2nd drop is for the dirty brock out ones - kinda one of those weirdo ones what caters for both sides hehe.

Oh and I got your PM about the remix, didn't you get my reply?

I got the original link but i'll have a pretty unimaginative time remixing the tune with only the audio stems if i cant use my keyboard to add my own bits in. Think you said something about having a tune done on reason up for the remix so if youve got a self contain file then even if i dont have the samples i can just fill in the gaps with my own

Neat idea.

Here is a 320 of my tune Angels:

I like doing mellower stuff, so, don't expect anything that'll make you want to dance. :) If you download I'd love some feedback, got another tune in the works also.[/url]

I like the space you add, but I'd add more variation in the drums... like just little change ups that are kinda subtle even. You could do a break that does that wobble and then just does the synth alternating.

I'm not a wobble guy, so I can't offer any real advice on what sounds good with that, but maybe try automating it a bit to change the speed throughout. Just something to try, don't know if it would sound good or not.

Mate I really enjoyed angels man, right up my street, really liking that warped guitar sound, like massive attack with a dubstep twist and motown vocals, the bass just purrs

The synth and the singing followed each other nicely, the song has some good emotional quality to it.

Listened to the tune, I really like the middle eastern vibes. I like the panning and space too, how far is it along? I wouldn't fill it in too much, I really like the space. What about a flute or something on top near after a break? Maybe strings, but, for some reason a flute could sound really cool with some reverb? Maybe something to try and see how it sounds.

Peace!! Keep me updated!

Its in an early stage, I dont want to get too busy with it because it'll lose its power I think

ive got a track up on virb
www.virb.com/teqh

which uses panpipes with a looot of reverb if you fancy a listen to that!

The track is a bit out of my league to comment on, I really like the use of effects... the crashing sounds, machine gun fire, etc. .... but if it was my track I would mellow it down a lot and use those things as drums over a thick bassline and drop the synths. Thats just me though, maybe someone who is more into that kind of dubstep could comment better.:/ With more space it would allow you the headroom to make growling bass to go along with the crashes and shots. Kinda depends on the direction your going with it.

Very nice stuff man, keep it up!

safe that ghost riddim is pretty cold. drum work is well programmed gt that 1999 feel to it lol. wud only say maybe the bass cud be pushed a bit louder, but im on headfones so it cud just b them. use of samples thru out is nice too pretty high quality beat tbh. was juss thinkin it wud work well with a good female vocal sample

Yeh, A female acapella would be nice, but I can't find any suitable ones, might look into asking a female singer to try write some lyrics for it

Liking pub lunch man, I think the bass could growl more and the kick should have more weight, :)

safe all
Pub lunch is nice as it is, but it depends what you're going for
As it is this tune is pretty krunk, definitely lean-up tune
but yeah, if you beefed up the bass a bit this tune would be a surefire floor filler
just remember to beef drums accordingly ;)

New track (ish) on the myspace, called You came to me
female vocals on dub

systm_bypass wrote:What kind of effects, and how many per channel, are you using? Do you resample at all?

Prehaps pull some of the atmos back a bit as alot of those sounds seem to be dominating the track with their mid/high frequencies. It also kinda sounds like you are either using to many plugins within the master project, or the samples may need to be EQ'd and resampled. So yeh, I guess you could maybe think about your levels of each sample/channel within the project and how they sit with eachother, and remember that louder isnt always better! (funnily enough I learnt that from a Scud and Aphasic interview).

I like your ideas though man, very nice, and I find it real hard to critique music because imo creative expression can never really be labelled!
