DEVASTATING!!!!!!!!!

life changing record
In a devastating way I hope.

"Defiled" is some sinister and very evil Jungle while "Witchunt" is plain old skull crushing. That bass wynding up at the start is a wonderful thing indeed.

always thought there was a similarity between the wobble dubstep tunes and the riffs of 90s metal, pantera, sepultura and such. Been toying with the idea of doing dubstep covers aswell, but its a lot of work.

Of course you if youre really into metal you should go for godflesh; songs of love and hate in dub perhaps. Both Justin Broadrick from godflesh and the guy from scorn started in Napalm death, so there should be some influences. Justin broadrick has also released lots of more electronic and dubby records, could check techno animal which he did together with Kevin martin from the bug. Its slower than dubstep, but still amazing.

I think its called Ruckus.

Maybe you should check this Goats Of Mendes (Bong-ra) mix.
http://godsofwar.wordpress.com/2009/01/ ... ng-ra-mix/
A dubstep / metal / industrial mix with live guitar from the man over the top.

I did a remix for Bong-Ra of Come Out To Play too which is very metal, no immediate release date for it yet though.

Yeah...the guy is unique. I've been really interested into industrial before I got into electronic dance music (real industrial like Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Neubauten and the likes). So Scorn really is one of my favorite artists.

Not exactly Dubstep (well...it all depends on wich albums wou look at, and what's your definition of dubstep), but still...he kinda made dark dubsteppy shits before dubstep even existed.

Love his deep sub-bass which sounds like they are coming from another world.

Strange how Napalm Death spawned such eclectic artists such as Broadrick & Harris.
