The whole producer who can't dj for shit thing had a big part in the demise of the drum and bass/jungle scene...in the late 90's early 2000..too many label owners and promoters just putting someone up there who has a big name because of said big tune...but couldn't mix read a crowd or live up a dance to save their skins.

take yr own needles,
don't assume the promoter will do the right thing by yu
and doan get too wasted unless yr mixing with friends.
