DUBSTEP.FR - French dubstep website and community

Post by synaptic » Tue Sep 12, 2006 8:00 pm

Ez peeps,

Well I think now is the time to let you know who we are and to promote a bit of the work that we have done this past year via our website to raise the profile of the dubstep scene in France. Starting up with http://www.rootspeople.com , we have grown in recent months on a more specific dubstep tip with our new website http://www.dubstep.fr

Contents since Aug. 2005 include:
• 23 reviews (Tempa, DMZ, Hyperdub, Tectonic, Planet Mu, Hotflush, Skull Disco...)
• 2 interviews (Kode9, Youngsta)
• 18 charts (Benga, Juju, Headhunter, Vex'd, Skream, M.A. Hobbs, JoeNice, NType, Blackdown, Simon Reynolds...)
• 31 news (forthcomings, new labels, events...)
• 2 reports (DMZ raves, BM Soho)
• 1 focus (Kode9 FWD Show)

Contents are only in French for the moment (except for a few extracts like the English Kode9 and Youngsta interviews). Expect to find English content coming soon.
You're welcome to contribute to our forum as well (promote your nights and radio shows in whichever langage you prefer...) and do let us know when you come to France...

peace
