thanks to all those that mentioned us and deffo agreed the names in this thread are very talented yet seem to fall under the radar.
Why do you think this is? is it down to promotion on all scales? is it people don't care, maybe the sound certain producers maybe to much off a tangent to appeal to the all/most dubsteppers, wrong place wrong time?
I'm tryin to figure this out, although fair to say this has been goin on in music as a whole for time that some artists don't get the recognition they deserve. Maybe it is necessary for balance to have mainstream artists and acclaimed artists.

I think the more generic stuff is allways going to be the most popular, i'm not saying it's any worse, it's just as a type of dance music, people are gonna want to hear the 1 minute build up, the kick that gets a little bit faster untill it drops.. and then BANG! wob wob wob etc..Rogue Star wrote:Why do you think this is? is it down to promotion on all scales? is it people don't care, maybe the sound certain producers maybe to much off a tangent to appeal to the all/most dubsteppers, wrong place wrong time?

As much as everyone loves say.. Skream, you can't deny that it's not exactly vary daring, yet it's the most popular, and people will give it the time of day because they're comfortable with that sound and the fact that he's an well established name in the scene.

i think all of these! but mainly "wrong place, wrong time"... there are lot of non UK based producers who have to work very hard to get some attention!Rogue Star wrote: Why do you think this is? is it down to promotion on all scales? is it people don't care, maybe the sound certain producers maybe to much off a tangent to appeal to the all/most dubsteppers, wrong place wrong time?
