Haha that's mad. To be fair if it was newcastle in that situation id be going fuckin mentalmawltea wrote:Me and my mate went to see Millwall - Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship a couple of years back, both were fighting to avoid relegation. Millwall scores, but no one notices that the ref has disallowed the goal - so everyone's celebrating like mad, while Wednesday take the freekick, attack 5 against no one except the goalie, scores, and the Millwall fans goes from believing they were leading 1-0 to be trailing 1-0.rubixdub wrote:Every time i think of Milwall I think riots.alfie wrote:seems a bit lively at upton park tonight
If Newcastle don't get promoted this season i hope Milwall come up to the championship.
The place went fuckin' mental. People around us just started fighting with eachother - what the fuck? We tucked our Spurs-jerseys further in, whistled a bit, and snuck out as fast as we could after the final whistle.
Here it is by the way;

Apparently hundreds of other football players dive and dont get anywhere near the same media uproar and this court shit. But hey, they're english so its all cool.
If you're gonna punish Eduardo for something the Referee didnt notice, then you have to punish Rooney, Gerrard, etc. aswell, not just single one person out to make an example.

Exactly, right after Eduardo was lined up for a public witch hunt Rooney dived v Arsenal & Glasgow Celtc had a player sent off for diving, so the Eduardo thing hardly put players off diving. Hit the club not the player, then youll see some results.DanRev wrote:Wolverine99 wrote:apparantly its ok to dive in football now, and get away with it

True he didn't dive, but he did kick the defender in the back of the leg after he went down. Thats if this is the England match you're talking about..Wolverine99 wrote:btw rooney did not dive, keeper caught him, stone wall penaltyChester Perry wrote:Exactly, right after Eduardo was lined up for a public witch hunt Rooney dived v Arsenal & Glasgow Celtc had a player sent off for diving, so the Eduardo thing hardly put players off diving.
