feedback for feedback. people arent waiting on this thread to hear the latest azza production. theyre doing you a favour.
Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- JUNE 2010
Thanks for the feedback peeps, really appreciate it.
@kaiori breathe - thanks for the positive feedback man. Checked that forgetting you tune, its tight man! Really well spaced out and everything sounds crisp, good work man.
@Xhertz - ha, yeah I think it is illegal, never taken it but sounds mad, my mate said it releases the same toxins into your body that your body would release just before you die or something, just thought it sounded mad, and was naming the track during the conversation, ha.
Liking the tune you posted man, really like how the higher synth part works with the more obscure bass noises.
@steeze - Proper feeling this tune man, would like to say thankyou for the download. Production sounds tight, really liking the drums and the vocal.
@Samkablaam - Cheers man, been meaning to tweak the low end a little bit in order to bring it out more. Feeling your track to man, liking the vocal samples throughout, good idea for a track. Overall its tight, loving the rhthym of it, can picture it being on a section in a skate video or something.
Haven't got time to comment on any other tracks tonight, but some real nice tunes going on, big ups!

hey Skaven,
Nice rolling beat, the drum sampling is thick and solid. I like the minimal rhythm of the high frequency bass opposing the sub bass filling everything out.

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- JUNE 2010
@ Skaven, Ah thanks man, no worries about the download, thank you for downloading it. Really liking your tune aswell, escpecially the main bass synth. Sounds almost robotic, been trying to come up with something like that myself. I dont really have anything bad to say about this, someone else mentioned the drop and I kind of agree, im not sure whether its the kick rhythm or the length of the buildup, but if improved I reckon it could give the bass a lot more impact when it comes in. Other than that, great stuff.

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- JUNE 2010
@Sam Kablaam, i agree with what that guy said about this having a skate video feel to it. Really groovy, rhythmic. Nice stuff.|
@Skaven, holy bass attack. Liking this track a lot, but it sounds like theres a lot of mid-highs in the cymbals and hats. If it was me, i'd have HP'd a bit more, but all in all, solid track, i like how dynamic it is, doesn't get boring.
here's one i posted earlier today, should be finished now

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- JUNE 2010
@Steeze !! Yoo thanks for such a nice long reply, thanks for listening and taking the time. I gotta say tho I'm totally feeling the spooky sounds! haha . Just listened to your track 'Alone'. Love the vocals those are top notch nice. the snare fits really well too and all the highs in the drums. Keep practicing on making crazier and crazier bass sounds. just keep adding more filters more everything.. if its not working start over try again. Your bass sound is just very average but the vocals were probably supposed to be the focal point. The piano is really nice but i'm thinking it shouldn't just be the raw piano the whole time. Add some effects on it that gradually increase maybe over a period of time before a change up just something.
You said my track had too much reverd on the kick. We didn't put any on the kick but maybe it was getting pushed too hard. The kick drum is soemthing ive been working on its slowly getting there if you have any ideas on why it would sound like that .. maybe the sample i'm using, i compressed it a bit, maybe too much?
Anywyas thanks again
@Bad Lux Thanks for the Ups! I totally agree with it needing to be eq'd some more. Goona do that up when i get a good chance over the next day or two. and HELL ya it would be sweet for halloween!
I am listening to your track right now its really nice man. Good production for sure. me personally would like to hear some more shit going on at some pionts. You can probably tell by our song that we like an in your face style. I like how you work some good pauses in there those are nice. But ya good track if i heard this out somewhere I would be happy about it

@ Skaven feelin this one bro, if i where you id probably cut sub to roll with you synth, it ould probably give it a bit more pop coming in and out of the track.

@fassyman,cheers glad you liked it,gona rework the drums tonite and am thinkin of gettin it mastered,my first tune to be mastered so i feel like its a big occasion haha. Listened to your track, really liked it,cool atmosphere and the vibe of its real nice, only criticism is to put a sub on that bassline, lovely tune tho.
@Enno-enjoyed the intro, but just way too much goin on in this track for me,probably due to preference more than anything, nice drums tho (sorry it aint my thing i cnt really crit it properly imo)

If you guy want, check out my track in my signature.
now, i know i might be at risk of getting burned to the ground for the fact that its not acctually dubstep. this is really only because i could find no good redrum samples for dubstep, so i just said to myself 'fuck it' and changed the tempo n called it liquid DnB
I made that track within the first week of me having reason so it is really beginner and probably pretty naff compared to the stuff other people have posted.
i joined this forum prior to making that track as i was intrigued by dubstep songs and i wanted to learn more about the method behind the madness and i just wanted to learn more about music and producing in general.
I really am a beginner and im here to learn and socialize with new people.
Obviously i am open to anything, because i still really dont know piss all about producing apart from the information in the production bible (which was really helpful as i hoped)
@streetxlite: i can really tell that you must have put so many man hours into perfecting that track. everything sounds prefectly in place. i really like how the bass fades in and out. (i really dont know how to explain it, but it sounds good)
@skaven: im really loving the robotic bassline, sounds immense! definatley something that makes me wanna crank up my speakers.
@ENNO: Oh my god! that build up was amazing, i really love that 'you wot blud?!' part where it drops too. it would be good if just after that vocal part you brought in some nasty OTT sub bass that just drops into the main part, to just give it a bit of a gap. i think that would enhance it further imo.

Mate this track is unreal! Reminds me a bit of Quarks by dirtyphonics. Love the dark intro and build up. One piece of advice I would give would be to filter out some of the low freqs before the drop create contrast, but its a matter of opinion whether or not it works well within a track.
@streetxlite like it, good mis of deep and jump up. Some nice Datsik style synths in there.
Here's my track I've just finished (VeraCocha), pretty excited about it so would some feedback!

ELECTROSTEP IS HERE

Thats tight man, i really loved the melody in this, and the little high note that sounded like a mario coin at the end of each couple of bars.
Only one thing that i could say as adivce would be to maybe break it down slightly earlier and for 30 seconds or so make another sexy wobbly bass section, then at the end mix them both together for the ultimate audiogasm

Just funk around with effects and stuff abit so you can create really intence build ups and stuff.
i think its a really good base for a track, it just needs more stuff layered in.
