it doesn't,it just changes the way your brain normally runs, which makes you see that nothing is what it is. It indirectly helps you to wake up from your -sort of- dream

we'll he claims he's going not going insane hes gong sane, which in ways i sort of agree with him
almost everything he talks about is fucking deep

but the fact that he thinks that neurofunk dnb is the path to enlightenment, and once you have created the perfect bass sound you can automaticially reach a higher state of being.. bit strange

but i guess theres no way proving your perception of reality is the right one, i guess theres no way of prooving it
he's not talking shit. he's having mystical experiences. what he's saying about neurofunk is true. it's not the only path at all but it is certainly a valid one.

Spend some time around a psychiatric hospital and then tell me that the people that are there because of excessive chemical consumption are on a higher level and have opened their minds to the truth rather than the obvious conclusion theat they have chemically altered their brains perception of reality and opened it too much to imagination and things that aren't really there and can no longer tell the difference....the 'truth' they each see is individual and unfounded and irrational and changes over time and usually leaves them cut off from the rest of society and very depressed, either that or they might tag on to some ideas that are similar to theirs- which is why internet conspiracies do so well, out of 6 billion people there are bound to be some that have similar unfounded views.

Drugs can help get a different perspective on things but are in no other way a key to 'truth', there are so many ways to look into other peoples theories and critically test them to gain true knowledge....just not as much fun as taking a load of drugs and then feeling superior and enlightened.

Anyway, pointless argument as rational thought is no way to argue with faith or vice versa, which is pretty much of what this comes down to.
if you think cheeseburgers are so great, try taking a trip down to the fat farm and tell me cheeseburgers were great to those people.

very true. My dad was a social worker in charge of a home in wandsworth, and if you had seen some of these people you wouldnt be saying that its a positive thing. Its one thing knowing a guy whos a bit eccentric and people call 'mad' and its another thing to be so out of your mind when you are sober that you drench yourself in petrol and set yourself on fire, or stab a social worker 19 times with a 10 inch kitchen knife because voices in your head told you to. Depression, anxiety, not being able to concentrate on anything, not being able to stop concentrating on something, feeling disasociated from the world/yourself, we all have these aspects in our personality, its only when one is out of balance with the rest in a way that is detramental to the person being able to get on with their life that they are mentally ill. And those are minor mental illnesses in the grand scheme of things, by the time a person is hearing voices and thoughts in their head that they do not believe are their own, waking up on different days with completely different personalities right down to their name, halucinating when sober and believing they have bugs crawling through their hair and skin, talking to people who arnt there etc then their ability to even look after themselves and remain alive is seriously compromised, its definatly not something someone would wish on themselves or anyone else.
