The first mix is one I did recently, scroll down to 'Early Techno Mix' for some pretty hard, minimal stuff - Jay Denham, Mills, Sterac, Sutekh, Claude Young, Green Velvet etc. Further down is 'Old Techno Mix' - starts and ends a bit melodic, but with some serious pace in the middle. Then there's a bunch of live recordings and radio recordings. Hope you like it.
Hey does anyone reckon that the best techno goodness is a mixture of the German minimal stuff and the midwest Detroity etc stuff, with a splash of electro?
I downloaded this album the other day - I've got it on vinyl... somewhere... haven't listened to it for probably ten years - and it's awesome! I'm thinking a few of the tunes could fit into a mix of the stuff like Girl Unit etc are mixing up these days, like this one. Worth a try...

But really it's all pretty good, and some of it is amazing. Plug Research is an amazing label, too - it's really changed over the years, but way back in the late 90s when Plug Research and Development came out, with some seriously experimental music (not many techno labels / artists were doing that) and The Art of Travel, which was also pushing boundaries in various directions, it really blew my mind. According to discogs The Art of Travel was mostly Allen Avanessian, I always thought it was both him and Tejada. No youtube videos of this album! I should make some.
