Worst has to be "Chainsaw Calligraphy" or "Sweetshop". Both are rubbish tracks that people jumped all over which is crazy as both actually have no sub at all. God knows how it both got released in the first place lol.
Uhhh, those songs have sub. You are wrong about that.

loefah - goat stare : insane bass, brilliant percussion , really deep and minimal yet so heavy at the same time.

doctor p - big boss : physically hurts to listen to.

My favorite dubstep track is either Changes or Level Nine by Mala. Either way, Mala takes it.
Changes for the melody, the perfect vocal sample, the swing AND THAT FUCKING SUB HOLY SHIT.
Level Nine cuz it's dripping with feeling and the melodies are so perfect, etc. etc.

The worst would definitely be that skrillex remix of born this way that was leaked from his stolen hd. That song has some of the most annoying sounds ever :(

My favourite track is probably Judgement by SP MC & LX ONE. Their songs are so chill and I love their deep ass bass where you can't really hear it you just feel it. Plus their percussion is top notch like their use of reverb and echo. Oh ya, and their bass is the shit too, if I forgot to mention that. Ben Verse is also one of the best.

Like what alot of peeps have said, there are way too many bad ones to single one out. Most releases from Rottun and Circus are trash. It's like a contest to see who can make the highest pitched "noise"... why?

Hijak - Dally
The groove, the skanks, the bass...mate that bassline will stay with me forever

Although Zomby - Spliff Dub is a potential challenger...It just has that dark, murky groove that to me, is dubstep. Tune always reminds me of driving round in mates' cars, smoking weed and listening to pirate radio :U:
My name is Dom and I like making ambientish music and drinking tea. Nice to meet you.

Best:

It's bassy, it's moody, it's groovy, it's shuffly, and everything else that makes dubstep dubstep.

'Twas a tough choice... Right behind it was Stand Against War (which didn't get #1 only because it's unreleased and therefore not many people know it), Mud, and Roll With the Punches.

Worst:

I could go with a lot of tracks for worst, but this one deserves special hatred for a lot of reasons... First of all, it's basically a stolen track... Takes someone else's song, and puts a shitty kick and snare on top with a lame chainsaw wobble and calls it his own tune. It's just poorly fucking produced... Most of all, I hate it cause it's one of many tunes responsible for effectively kicking the genre into the mainstream and exposing such a shitty side of dubstep to so many people.

Best:

Pretty much the quintessential "eyes-down" tune for me. This track's vibe defines what this genre means to me.

Worst:

I dont have a most hated track, but I do think that this is really bad.

Best: ya know yourselves sure anything by the Bosses (Mala, Digital Mystics and the like) I have to say that I do really like Ajapai and Excision and basically the Aggressive side of dubstep and i'll probably be raped for saying that but hey everyone to their opinion yeah?

But there is one producer that I really dislike (not goin to say hate cause thats fairly harsh but I do mean dislike a hell of a lot) and i'm surprised that he actually hasn't been hurled abuse at by people here a lot and that person is Borgore.

His music is awful, nonsense that I can't barely even listen to. I mean he has to be taking the piss sometimes. Whats the song about cummin on a girls face, I mean come on man for fuck sake! He acts like he's the best thing since slice bread (and slice bread is the fuckin KING!)

but yeah thats my opinion.....just sayin is all! What do you guys think? or am I on my own on that one?

Best: Skream - Blue Eyez or Andreya Triana - A Town Called Obsolete (Mala Remix)

Worst: gonna have to go with Doctor P - Tetris. Hearing that at a local night was probably the moment I started to truly hate brostep.
