EDIT: Just had a listen to some bro and their snares aren't nearly as huge as I remebered, I'm fine, don't worry people panic over. As you were.

I can't get started XD.... Trying to force myself to produce something, but it just hasn't hit me yet :l... Maybe I'll start with Drums now, and see where that goes.. Lol

I got 90% of my sequencing and building down a hour or two before I want out tonight.

Now just to mix it and finish it.

Word. I spent several hours on it yesterday and only got the drums and incidental noises and most of the patches done. Still got all the sequencing and melody writing and mixdown to go.

Will I be disqualified if I use melody in mine?

Surely that's against rule, maybe if you using the sound of a farting robot you might just be able to get away with it.

I need some stupid film sample, and a better mixdown then I am done.

I've gotten no where really, so I'm just taking it slow until it hits me..

I've got a runny nose, so it's really preventing me from being creative.. I just feel like resting.

Yeah I've always rated flux pavillion above most other brostep artists. I'm finding this really hard, the drums were easy but everything else I do just sounds ambient :s

brotip: write your ambient stuff, all the beauty melodies you can think of, turn it into an epic intro.... then listen to this for further inspiration:

because totally awesome intros dropping into random annoying noises is totally bro innit? :6: (big tune btw)

I'm on my 5th attempt right now man and I'm still not really feeling it. I keep writing ambient melodies and playing them with brostep patches...isn't working so well...

I have started 4 tracks in the last two days.

Start off nice & raw... then it turns deep & soulful!

think I might need to get drunk to get all angsty!!

Keep going with it! That's how I felt, but then I just made a few more midrange synth's and added them for some flavour. I found that's the secret to keeping it exciting without having to screw around with modulating LFO's... Also, when you make some nice ambience or soulful stuff that doesn't fit just save it for a "not-bro" track later.

I bet only 25% of the people who said they would do this will, the other 75% are lazy fucking hipsters.
