Oh i didn't think it was too bad, don't want to spoil the plot but don't they stay the best of friends basically against all the odds? That's kinda heart warming, no?

Did you like it? I gave it to a mate and he thought i was nuts for recommending it, he didn't watch much of it to be fair.

yeah i really enjoy it

SPOILERS:
the guys don't really stay too good of friends

they start off with this kinda naive optimism and commitment to friendship and then have their lives torn apart by war and the whims of an unattainable woman who is always miserable and makes jules miserable and eventually she kills herself and jim
