I guess all you need to do is start the tune 4 bars earlier than normal, but that's easier said than done if you like to mix out of the second drop of the previous tune, which often has a beat-less breakdown..And you have the SHITTEST DECKS KNOWN TO MAN. (Numark TT 1610's)
sure it's not 32 bars? as a producer, i'd never make a tune with a 24 bar intro and as a dj i'd be pissed off with a tune that has a 24 bar intro

even then, most tunes have a 64 bar intro

yeah should be 32 bars....24 seems a bit odd.
Aye 32, mybad! Tune drops early.

what? that's like a total killer! just pitch it down 6 bpm or something like that and it blends in well, for example cold blooded by kryptic minds. plenty of time to pitch it back in the huge drop too, if you want.
everyone knows its 148bpm...its just the pause before the drop makes it very difficult to double drop unless youre using cds lol

for the record, i'm not using cds or digital lol.

also, just because you can't have two drops on top of each other (if that's what you mean) doesn't mean it's impossible or doesn't sound good.

sure you mean wind tunnel and not the flip???

wind tunnel is just 139, kick-on-the-first-snare-on-the-third-step... its one of the simplest tunes to mix i find, not meanin to be a dick, everyone hears things differently

It's either that or smooth skin. The hats get me.

hmm i can see in wind tunnel the hats being a problem kind of

but they're just triplets, so if you focus on the 1st kick and the snare on the third you'll be right, ignore the hats, once you get the kick and snare locked the hats will help you correct when you are falling out in between kicks and snares but other than that, yeah, just disregard them and focus on the kick and snare :)

smooth skin the hi-hats are the 2nd and 4th beats in the bar so when it drops you'll have a kick on the 1st and and a hat on the 2nd which gives it that steppy roll
