i think a fair few people have heard of Black Dynamite and In Bruges. both great movies.
this thread is sick though - will have to check out a few of these.
no one seems to know of these whenever I reference them:

Mine are mostly pretty arthouse, you'd know them if you were an arthouse cinema fan but probably not otherwise.

I've seen this, and am a massive Piven fan, but thought it was pretty poor tbh. Air Gold should not be wasted on toilet humour IMO.

Posted about this in the movie club thread, really good film but requires a lot of concentration and most of it wont make any sense until near the end, well worth the effort though

+1 for ...
primer
lunacy
la haine
videodrome ... LONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH!
haven't seen "foolish wives", but a huge fan of another of von stroheim's, "greed"
the mirror ... possibly the greatest film ever made - unless that's another of tarkovsky's films, "andrei rublev" (- either 1 is better than "solaris", but then all his films are masterpieces)
enter the void ... yes! 1 of the 3 best films about drugs, along with "the connection" and "requiem for a dream"

unbelievably good. its even more mystic if you watch in mid fever, which was when I watched it last. bed ridden, half awake. made it even more intense.
