Read the edit I made to the post you just quoted.
Re: Youtube Channel For The DSF Production Community (NAMING
*** upload their song. moderators should make the video. you should be the ones with the graphics and such, just have a template ready and throw the audio in there. having people make the videos themselves would get messy I think. also, this way all the videos are of the same resolution and qualityChadDub wrote:Ok, now that I have a list of 8 contributors, I'mma move on to the next step. Getting the moderation team. I think how it's going to be done is for now it'll be me and CE doing the moderating, and once we get more traffic I'll appoint another person.
How do you guys want to do this? The job of the moderators is basically just quality control over the videos that get uploaded, but idk the best way to do this as videos can get big. I'm thinking we'll just have the video makers upload their video to Mediafire or something like that and PM one of the moderators the link to the DL so they can check it out first, But idk. Thoughts?
And about the GFX, we'll get to that after this.

the way I interpreted that post was that you wanted the artist to send you a link to a video of their song. I'm not sure if you really meant that or just weren't thinking about it but they should simply send you the audio, and you or another moderator turn it into a video.

Good luck, best have a strong stab at it

Re: Youtube Channel For The DSF Production Community (NAMING
Sounds great! though i think what goes on there should be decided by the whole community, not just one person or a couple of people. Perhaps a monthly vote? Think we should keep the name simple btw "DSF Music" would be alright? Either that or Secret Ninja Dubstep (NSFW)
Re: Youtube Channel For The DSF Production Community (NAMING
Since dubway isn't permitting use of DSF's name, I doubt he would be happy with either of those two options. Good try though.Earjax wrote:Sounds great! though i think what goes on there should be decided by the whole community, not just one person or a couple of people. Perhaps a monthly vote? To make this thread easier to digest, i think everyone once in a while op should edit the first post with a list of whos doing what, otherwise infos gunna get lost quickly as i can see this getting popular within this forum
Once the youtube is up and running update it with the URL aswell.
I would like to contribute but how do i record my screen using windows?? i would be doing ableton and massive tutorials

It will record audio, but sometimes, if the frame size is too big, it will glitch up and the video and audio will be going at different speeds and get completely off-sync. But, hey, it's freeware, whatcha gonna do?JTMMusicuk wrote:cheers, will that record audio aswell? or will i have to do that seperately in audacity? i cant google this atm as im at workjrisreal wrote:Hypercam 2 is free now, so go ahead and use that.JTMMusicuk wrote:To make this thread easier to digest, i think everyone once in a while op should edit the first post with a list of whos doing what, otherwise infos gunna get lost quickly as i can see this getting popular within this forum

i'd be more worried about quality content coming consistently than a name... then again 80% of these projects fail before even getting anywhere
