I did notice but must admit i had never heard of him/them to even comment on it.I'm still blown away from the fact you found noisia asking what a reece bass was on doa.

amazingly enough producers all start somewhere... and gasp spor, pendulum and plenty of others used to post quite a bit on DOA
the same used to happen here as well, but just like DOA as the boards and stuff got more popular and more and more obnoxious people showed up asking stupid questions and pestering them they left

I seriously dont understand why people get flamed for making threads like this

What the fuck are you supposed to talk about on a production forum if it isnt how to make sounds?

IF ANYONE IN THIS FORUM KNEW HOW TO MAKE SKRILLEX, EXCISION, DATSIK, MEGALADON, OR BENGA'S BASS THEN THEY WOULDN'T BE HERE. All these threads are are just fucking kids giving their two cents like they could do it, but the fact of the matter is they can't do shit.

Seriously guys, stop trying to be other people. It's fucking pathetic.
Stop trying to cause an argument man, if you dislike the forum go hang at DOA. I was interested in how megaladon was making his sounds because they sounded unlike anything I'd heard before, thought maybe someone could give some in site, not really anything to be complaining about. I'm not trying to be fucking anyone apart from myself, but if I hear a sound I like, I'll try and recreate it, because, well, I like the fucking sound not because I'm trying to copy someone else's style. If you haven't got anything constructive to add, please go elsewhere. As for everyone complaining about what dubsteps turned into, who gives two shits about whats dubstep and what isn't anymore, the no requests tune is pretty cliched admittedly, however you can at least appreciate the amazing production in it can't you? Complaining about something isn't gonna make it any better, if your that fussed, do something about it.
Shit mate... Someone who finally understands the reasons why we want to make these sounds.

Alright so i think i got the sound but not spot on. Its really good but it just has this tail or low end at the end and its annoying. Anyone know what it is? I could record it to show you.

It does that on a vandpass and a lowpass 2 but not on a low pass 4.
I am confused.

i just do not understand how people want to sound like other producers, you are not gonna make it if you are going to reproduce someone else his bass or what ever.
Create a preset yourself, tweak it and make it YOURS, I did that to most of my tunes and I am still trying to make it better and better.

He does the same as Funtcase he adds a reverb on it with 0.1%.
