I disagree. There's SO many people making music now it's actually ridiculous. Filling the internet and digital music stores with shit. I don't really want to add to it (it would, inevitably be shit)

I obviously wasnt trying to encourage people to release shit music. But instead of saying dubstep has gone stale, why not make the sort of music you like and practise til your good enough to release

how so? if you don't like something, it's up to you to change it; it's not up to anyone else. Don't like the shows that go on? Throw your own. Every scene has always been oversatutated with shit, but the cream always rises to the top.

christ isnt this a depressing thread. i love dubstep, it encapsulates all genres in a single 140 bpm bass centered format, basically everything ive ever wanted. if your bored with dubstep you arent looking hard enough. am i the only one who finds house an extremely limiting (percussion wise) and predictable genre?

Only a few dubstep artists get my time: the Black Box roster, VIVEK and Mala. That's about it really.

I'm all over the hype and weird sounds of TNGHT and it's surrounding beats (not that "trap" pish").

Apply it to anything besides music.

"If people are unhappy with the current action movies, they should make their own."
"If people are unhappy with the current restaurants, they should make their own."
"If people are unhappy with current TV shows, they should make their own."

Not everyone is a musician and it's stupid to expect them to be just 'cause they don't like some music. It's the same kind of logic that makes people say "well, it's better than what you can do!" every time they get any sort of criticism.
