Some of their tunes are alright, not amazing but filling a small void of good in a pool of shite, I don't know enough about them to knock 'em only know what I have heard on radio and I didn't think 'fuck, turn this off' but rather 'that's a throwback tune'.

there should be no discussion of morality for anything capital fm related. it's 'lol' worthy at the most but this is now six pages deep and people are talking about the state of rave culture and musicianship :? .

thread is very similar to the blackdown one tbh.

if you legitimately think that, i feel bad for you son.

i understand where you're coming from, but that's the reason the industry is where it is today.

anyone who's clued up will know that's a completely different thing though. uk ppl know that capital is a fuckin bore of a 'pop' station hence there being absolutely no need to debate the issue of an unplugged mixer as it's just an image ting for them (as long as the pop hits were blaring through wembley today then everybody's happy).

for people to be mentioning quotes on rave culture and musicianship over this  / green is a right nasty colour.

yeah for sure

it's just the fact that you have to go a few years making music you hate for people you loathe

but if some random guy offered me a million tomorrow to stop what im doing and make electro pop house i probably would

If i was in disclosure position then yeah but if i would was involved scene/ community from the beginning where it really was people making music they enjoy. And seeing it progress and get bigger then i think it would be a very hard choice. Disclosure are producer's who got lucky, they don't have the same connection.

I'am guessing all this mainly because i've only heard little clips off their music and seen quote's about how they don't care about the music they make. But listen to the music they make i can see why they don't give a shit.
