how about you establish some opinions based on the purity of your own thought rather than having it garbled by the fuzz of mass perception?

or you know you can actually put forth some ideas that I can subsequently shoot down like an arrogant fuckwit, either is cool with me

If people are throwing Lil Wayne into this list then I'm sure as fuck gonna throw in names like Eyedea.

Well, It's just pretty funny that you pick the most corny over rated backbacker rapper ever after someone said that's exactly what you do.

Then list one of J5 who's actually a boring group for 17 year old white kids who claim to know "real hip hop" just because they have heard J5

more strawman plz

you seem to be interpreting my post as me seeing these names as the best 5 or whatever that I could think of. I was adding them to the discussion. I was not dismissing the earlier posts in the thread in any fashion whatsoever.

But like I said, I knew I would get savaged by some fucking idiot.

Personally I've already said he whole greatest rapper thing doesn't work. Everyone is inconsistent over there career, they're good at one thing and not another or whatever

Still Eydea was pretty lame most the time

Eyedea was like the best battle rapper in the US at the age of 17, but yeah I guess he was lame cos he's white and has shit hair and hangs out with Slug and co.

Nah he's shit because a lot of his music is cheesy or boring.

Being a good battle rapper doesn't mean you have the ability to make good albums

E+A is a classic album? And I don't find E+A remotely cheesy. He had some moments liek I said that were out of kilter with the rest of the thread, in that Eyedea suffered from severe depression so this was evidenced through Albums like the Many Faces of Oliver Hart.....but then what is he going to rap about when he's going through dark shit? I find his rawness and honesty way more brave than bullshit gangster talk to be honest.

Chirst no. Jam Baxter is fucking horrible.

Eydea might not be at all good enough to be "GOAT" or whatever but I can at least listen to some tunes by him

Not buying that Mason. UK Hip hop is just always the same old poorly delivered pseudo intellectual nonsense or going on about smoking weed like a cheeky tnuc. I can think of a couple that are listenable but still...

I can't think of a single UK rapper who could be greatest of all time.

Most rappers fell off at the turn of the century.
Wu-Tang is probably the strongest group.
Denzel Curry has a lot of potential.
Lil Ugly Mane made some of my favorite tunes.

Whoever said Immortal Technique is a clown.
